WHAT IS ALPACA WOOL?

THE ALPACA

NATURE'S SUPERIOR FUNCTIONAL FIBER

Almost 600 years ago, the Inca Empire called the Alpaca: The Fiber of the Gods. Only the royalty were allowed to use such precious fibers. Hundreds of years later, the alpaca became a necessity for Peruvian people's everyday life. Living in high altitudes, alpacas grow wool that naturally adapt to different climates. This fiber is known as Nature's Superior Function Fiber.

NATURE'S SPECIAL FIBER

Nature intended for alpacas to live in high altitudes. If their wool could not endure the intense climates, the animal wouldn't survive.

THE WONDER FIBER

How is alpaca wool special?

Found in the highest altitudes at 5000 meters, alpacas withstand freezing temperatures and hot climates. Their wool easily adapts to the difference in weather helping the animal to cool down and warm up when needed. This temperature regulated property is important to the alpaca's survival.
