Care for your layer

Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle/wool cycle in cold water (50-68°F). Use a mild wool-safe or pH-neutral detergent. Wash with similar colors. Don't bleach or use fabric softener.

Reshape while damp and lay flat to dry. Don't tumble dry, twist, or wring. Cool iron if needed. Store folded in a cool, dry space with airflow; avoid hanging.

Naturally dyed colors can transfer with sweat or friction. Wear them with dark clothing or equipment, wash sparingly, and avoid citric acid, which can lighten the color.

Shipping & Returns

US orders over $200 ship free. Estimated US delivery is 7 to 10 business days, including preparation and transit. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. International rates are calculated at checkout; estimated delivery is 10 to 20 business days. Customs duties and import taxes are your responsibility.

Eligible unused, unwashed items may be returned within 15 days of delivery. What counts is that you start your request within those 15 days; how long the package then takes to reach us does not affect your refund. Original packaging isn't required. A $5 domestic return shipping fee applies unless Free Returns was purchased at checkout. International return shipping is paid by the customer, except for wrong or defective items under the policy.

The benefits

Why Alpaca wins

Alpacas en los Andes peruanos

Andes-adapted for changing temperatures

Alpacas evolved where days run warm and nights turn cold. Their semi-hollow fibers trap insulating air, helping you stay comfortable as the temperature changes.

Softness starts in the fiber

Alpaca’s smoother scales give the fabric a soft feel against your skin. Comfort comes from the fiber’s structure.

Wear more, wash less

Alpaca wool naturally resists odor. Air your layer between wears, then wash it when it needs cleaning. Less time doing laundry. More time outside.

Single origin

Peru, start to finish.

Arms of Andes is a family company with roots in the Peruvian Andes. “Arms” brings together the initials of four siblings. That connection to Peru shapes what we make and where we make it.

From fiber sourcing and yarn spinning to knitting and sewing, production stays in Peru. One country, with the people and knowledge behind your gear close together.

Nice thick quality but returned

I'm in between sizes and ordered the XS. The hips, thighs and length fit well but the waist band was a smidge tighter than my preference. The fabric was also a tad prickly so I returned without sizing up. Otherwise, beautiful quality, thick and heavy, would have been warm. I have several other alpaca pieces from Arms of Andes and love them!

Hi Lesli,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We completely understand, finding that perfect fit can be tricky. We're glad to hear you love the quality and warmth of our pieces, and that you’ve enjoyed your other alpaca items from Arms of Andes. We really appreciate your support and hope your next pick will be just right!

Love them.

I thought they would be itchy. They weren't! They loosened up a bit but did not get saggy or baggy which made me happy!

Hi Mary,

Glad to hear you’re loving them! We love that you liked how they kept their shape and stayed comfortable. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Love these so much

I have leggings, which I wear under a skirt or shorts, but wanted something with pockets so got the joggers. I'm 5', 114 pounds and got the Small in grey. I LOVE THEM! So comfortable and a place to stash my phone when I'm padding around the house. So far I've washed them twice on gentle and laid them out to dry and they came out perfect. I'm converting more and more of my wardrobe to alpaca.

Hello Nancy! That's awesome to hear! We're so happy you're loving the joggers and that they're working perfectly for you. Alpaca really is a game-changer for comfort and durability. Thanks for sharing your experience, enjoy your cozy new wardrobe!

Living in the joggers

Having a hard time ever taking these joggers off! Fit and style are right on, love the comfortable feel. I wear them day and night! I wear them to teach and practice yoga, workout in, everyday activities, etc. I do layer pants over the top for going outside with cold northern winter temps. Thank you for such a wonderful product!

Hi Shiloh! Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled to hear that you're loving the joggers and that they've become such a versatile and comfortable part of your wardrobe. It’s amazing that they fit seamlessly into your daily life, from yoga and workouts to staying cozy in the colder northern winters. comfortable

I love the fit of these joggers--not as tight as leggings but still close fitting. I like the cuff at the bottom--not too tight or obvious. the fabric is smooth and warm but breathable. I am 5' 5" and 158# and the M fits well. i just wish you would stock all the colors! I got the navy but really want black and the natural blue!

Thank you for your feedback! We're thrilled to hear that you're loving the fit and feel of our joggers. It's fantastic to know that they strike the perfect balance between comfort and style for you. :D

Exceeded my (already high) expectations!

I expected to love these since I’ve been practically living in an alpaca hoody for the last year and a half, and know how comfortable alpaca is. But I layer the hoody over a base layer so only my arms and neck touch the alpaca. But I don’t layer the joggers, so the whole length of my legs get to luxuriate in alpaca fluffy-cloud softness. No, really! It kind of blew me away. And I think Arms of Andes alpaca is softer and “fluffier” than my hoody made by another company. Needless to say, I’ve been living in, and sleeping in, these joggers since I got them and still can’t quite get over how soft they are. I took a chance and bought my usual size since I couldn’t find the sizing chart on the site, and the fit is perfect. The pockets are great and a deal-breaker for me, if they don’t have ‘em, I don’t buy ‘em, and I’m so glad they have the “joggers” with pockets and not just the tights, without pockets. I absolutely adore these pants and intend to buy many more products from Arms of Andes in the future. Thank you for making such comfortable, natural, and ethical products, Arms of Andes!

Warm and comfortable

I'm happy with the pants, they will be an excellent and practical base layer for camping and hiking...assuming that over time, I'm not too rough and they're not too delicate with washing.

So excited to have Alpaca pants!

So excited to have Alpaca pants! They are ssooooo warm! They have a nice thick waste band and while I wish they were more like skinny jeans they will do the job. They are exactly as advertised with a little extra from the waist band. Love the color!

Finally was able to use these joggers!

Finally was able to use these joggers! Used them for hiking in damp, cool weather, and they were great. Very comfortable, soft, and so far, seem to wear well. Thank you for the sizing recommendation, as well!
