Women's Alpaca Wool Long Sleeve T-Shirt

Quick-dry, lightweight, warm shirts! They’re great.

I haven’t worn it yet so I can’t compare it to merino wool but the fit is Extremely fitted. I had to size up 2 sizes which then made the length very long

Itchy and runs small. Not soft

Washing makes it look quite worn. For the price the material Should hold up better.

After buying two short sleeve V-neck ultra-lightweight tees I decided I needed a long sleeve one for cooler days, for under my flannel shirts. Arms of Andes are well made, comfortable and a perfect base layer for cooler temps. Being an older adult, I appreciate the comfort and temp regulating properties of the alpaca wool fabric.

Though I have not had a chance to hike in this shirt, I do find it fits and drapes well and the fabric texture looks very nice. After washing it I found it still itches a little bit so will try soaking it in vinegar to relax the fibers. Other than that I really love the shirt. Customer Service has been extremely helpful and answers inquiries quickly. I would definitely purchase again.'

I have this is two colors and I love them. Easy care. Wash and lay to dry and they dry quickly. I can wear them several times before washing, which is easy, too.

Wool -no plastic....yay

The long sleeve t-shirt makes a great base layer. I thought it looked too small when I took it out of the package but it is just right for a base layer, like a comfortable second skin. Thank you for making plastic-free clothing. I'd like to see natural alpaca colors (browns, gays, etc).

Great addition to my wardrobe. I have several colors now and wear these shirts alone and layer them under most of my tops for added warmth in during the winter months. They are so comfortable. I'm very pleased with the quality and grateful that they are 100% Alpaca.

I was able to pack extra light on my last trip by bringing a couple of these tops. The trip involved trail running in the snow, relaxing by the fire, and a sauna. I brought separate alpaca t-shirts for running, sleeping, and daily wear. They kept me comfortable both inside and outside without getting stinky!
I have a 36" bust and 32" waist and bought size Small so I could layer the tops under sweaters. They also look nice enough to wear on their own, unlike a lot of layering tops.
PS I brought an alpaca tank top for the sauna!

I got this shirt in black and could wear it every day. I especially love how it regulates my temperature I don’t feel too hot or too cold while wearing it. Can’t wait to add more pieces like it!

I am 5’6” and 125-129 lbs, and the S fits perfectly. It’s tight but not too tight, and I wear it either as a workout top or for work with a nice skirt or pants + jewelry to dress it up.

I’ve learned to hand wash my AoA clothes, and so they last. I don’t find the top itchy but I see how some could. Love the material.

I am extremely satisfied with my long sleeve shirt. After just a few days of receiving my shipment, I ordered the same shirt in another color. I was nervous that the shirt would be too thin, but I think it’s perfect! I do feel the scratchiness that other people have commented on. However, the longer I wear it, the more comfortable I feel. Truly I feel like I’m receiving a gentle hug all day when wearing my shirt. I originally purchased this for a vacation since it doesn’t have to be washed often. I now realize that I will be wearing this all the time!! I’m so glad I found your company.

The ordering process was easy; shipping was fast and good. The company is great. The sweater is the best I've tried -- alpaca is warmer and softer than merino; the weave of the fabric is naturally stretchy, so the fit is very comfortable. I'm an old lady - nearly 80! - and this is my favorite sweater. Wish it came in some other colors, but the black is timeless and goes well with jeans and with dress pants. I'd recommend Arms of the Andes and their products to friends & family.

Don’t buy this. It’s incredibly uncomfortable. I wore it for the day to see if it got better and it didn’t, only to find out wearing it one time means you can’t return it. Can’t be washed either.
Just don’t buy this. There are other brands that are comparable prices that are sustainable and actually comfortable, unlike this one.

If you do buy it: Do not wear, do not wash. Or you’re stuck with it regardless of how you feel about it. But just save yourself some time and buy from a different brand. My partner bought theirs on paka and it’s much nicer than what I got here

Great fabric softest clothes ever very durable and comfortable and warm.

This is my go to shirt for so many reasons. It’s warm yet cool enough to be comfortable indoors. Soft and fits well. I own 3!!

Bought for my girlfriend who is getting into natural fabrics, particularly alpaca. She picked this brand because it was the only one with 100% alpaca.

She wear XS/S and was originally going to buy S but realized this fits tight and she is trying to lose weight so she felt she'd look bad. For reference she is still small but has a bit of tummy and doesn't like tight fitted things right now. Instead she got an XL to be safe. I think she should have gotten a M at most L. XL ended up being very roomy. I offered to exhange for a L but she didnt want me to pay for an exchange so she kept the XL. She also found out alpaca tends to stretch out over time so I think M would be best.

It doesn't look bad on her but isn't not great either, her words. She said it's itchy and after soaking for 16 hours in conditioner said it only moderately helped and is still itchy. All in all I don't think she is happy, but also knows how expensive this is, she got 3 different shirts, so she is trying to hide her disappoint. I don't forsee her asking for anymore alpaca or wool that she can't feel in person first.

I really like this shirt a lot!

I wore my 160 weight long-sleeve shirt over a very thin next-to-skin layer for two days on an overnight winter camp. It was a little itchy now and then, but overall it felt comfortable and cozy. The weight is perfect for a base layer and the navy color is beautiful and not see-through. I purchased a medium and I am 5'3" and 125 lbs, average chest and it fits perfectly. I didn't give it five stars only because I don't know about longevity and wool can be susceptible to holes.

This will be good for a base layer but a little too snug on its own. Not quite as soft as some wools. Very thin, but strong and stretchy

I have worn the t-shirt, long sleeve and long sleeve hoodie and have really enjoyed all of them. So far it has been for daily wear (and once to the gym) in winter in Michigan. I plan to use these on my month long hike in the UK this summer. The weight is great for layering and I haven’t washed any of them yet but are smell free. I love the athletic fit! I got the small in everything and love it (32DD, athletic build, 135lbs). They are a little itchy but I don’t notice it so much as the day goes on. Also im not sure how they will hold up under a backpack strap rubbing all day but that will be tested this summer. I am very please with these products!

This long sleeve shirt is incredibly warm while being lightweight. It's everything you'd want in a base layer. The fibers are smooth and not itchy. This shirt can be worn for several days without smelling, so great for camping / travel purposes. The medium size fits me perfectly, I am 5'6", 125lb with a 35" bust. I recommend washing with Outback Gold wool wash.

Simply the best. Wish they had more colors and sizes.
