Free-Roaming Andean Alpacas

SINGLE ORIGIN SUPPLY CHAIN

Where Were These Leggings Made?

We use natural local resources and a short transparent supply chain. Our mission is to teach you as much as possible about how clothes should be made. Together we can move the fashion industry towards a sustainable future.

Designed & Made in One Country: Peru

Contrary to industry norms, every step involved in making our clothes is done in only one country: Peru, the home of our family. Our production in Peru includes fiber sourcing, yarn spinning, fabric knitting, dyeing, finishing, and garment sewing.

From Peru, our clothes go straight to California or Europe on its journey to you.

Low Carbon Footprint

Manufacturing in one country allows us to greatly reduce our carbon footprint and freight shipping. This is a major step on our journey to becoming a carbon negative company.

Transparency & Traceability

We avoid industrial farming by working with co-op farmers in the Andes. Doing everything in Peru guarantees we know how the alpacas and the workers involved are being treated.

Love what I received. In love with alpaca. Wish I could afford more. Would have given 5 stars but not sure of its durability. First items I tried seem to be a bit flimsy and fragile. Still using some even with holes.

Hi John,
Thank you so much for your honest and thoughtful feedback.
We’re so glad to hear you love what you received and are enjoying the alpaca!
We totally understand your concerns about durability. Alpaca is incredibly soft and luxurious, but it can feel more delicate compared to synthetic blends. We really appreciate you sharing your experience, and we’ll be sure to pass this along to our product team.

Seems good

I'm a waist 32 and XL size fits snug. I might order XXXL next time just cuz I have swollen left foot/lower leg. Low but noticable itchiness, especially behind knee. I'll be searching for loose underlayers if available. Probably perfect for sporty needs. seems warm but not as warm as expected.

Hi there,
Thanks for sharing your feedback! We appreciate your insights on the fit and warmth. If you’re looking for a looser underlayer, feel free to reach out—we’d love to help you find the best option for your needs. Hope you stay warm and comfortable!

Fantastic base layer/leggings

Bought for an upcoming trip to the arctic, but I've been wearing them around the house and around town to try them out. They are really comfy and warm. I can't wait to run around with the reindeer with these keeping me warm. My only problem is I need to buy a pair in Medium for my travel partner and they are sold out.

Hi Matthew,
We're so glad to hear you're enjoying the comfort and warmth of the leggings! Sounds like they'll be perfect for your Arctic adventure. We hope to have the medium size back in stock soon. Thanks for your patience, and we hope you and your travel partner stay cozy and warm on your trip!

Excellent Product

Fabric is well loomed, strong, good stitching, just stretchy enough, soft and warm; an Excellent Base layer. I will be buying more for my family.

Excellent quality

I’ve had these for almost a month now using them as a base layer and I love them. I’m a boat captain for work and hunter in my free time in wet conditions and below freezing. I own similar thickness merino wool base layers from first lite and Sitka and I can say these leggings are better, I only have one complaint.
Pros
-very high quality feel
- soft and comfy
- as warm or warmer than my merino
- noticeably cooler than merino when inside or driving
Con
- not enough room in the crotch and I find myself pulling them up quite a bit

I am 6’1” and 200 pounds, I got a large and I just wish they came up a little higher with more room in the groin.

That said I highly recommend them and you won’t regret buying them

We appreacite your preference by choosing us :D

Softest and warmest I have worn yet

I live in the Pacific NW and am outdoors as much as I can be. That means a lot of rain and cold. I use merino almost exclusively but that is changing as I discover just how much more insulating and comfortable Alpaca is. Yes, it's a tad spendy, but you get what you pay for. If I am not using them to keep warm and dry outdoors, then I am lounging around the house in them. Highly recommend this company and their clothing!

Night heavier weight leggings for cold days

I've been looking for some heavier weight wool leggings for quite awhile. Most companies only seem to ~200 weight for men. I'm in love with alpaca even more than merino. These leggings worked great when I was out building trail in 23F winter weather. They do have a slightly itchy/scratchy feel when I initially put them on, but I don't notice it afterwards. Would buy again.

Alpaca wool leggings. 420 midwinter. Fabulous

I bought these wonderful leggings online living in the UK. I was nervous thinking would they arrive from Peru... well they did. The online purchase was really easy and confirmation of my purchase was email returned. I got updates via emails and they arrived safely. I am delighted with the quality and fit. The sizing chart was accurate. I really do recommend this company and their product. Thank you

Alpaca is much softer on the skin.

Sheep is a thing of the past. Alpaca is much softer on the skin. Superior to even the very best merino wool. The quality of this fabric is some of the best I've experienced.
