Free-Roaming Andean Alpacas

SINGLE ORIGIN SUPPLY CHAIN

Where Was This Jacket Made?

We use natural local resources and a short transparent supply chain. Our mission is to teach you as much as possible about how clothes should be made. Together we can move the fashion industry towards a sustainable future.

Designed & Made in One Country: Peru

Contrary to industry norms, every step involved in making our clothes is done in only one country: Peru, the home of our family. Our production in Peru includes fiber sourcing, yarn spinning, fabric knitting, dyeing, finishing, and garment sewing.

From Peru, our clothes go straight to California or Europe on its journey to you.

Low Carbon Footprint

Manufacturing in one country allows us to greatly reduce our carbon footprint and freight shipping. This is a major step on our journey to becoming a carbon negative company.

Transparency & Traceability

We avoid industrial farming by working with co-op farmers in the Andes. Doing everything in Peru guarantees we know how the alpacas and the workers involved are being treated.

Very Nice!

Have worn it several times during hikes; I like high quality, well made sweater/jacket . Re: fit, S fits my 33” chest, 26” waist well, form fitting but not tight. I sized up because I didn’t want tight. I’m 5’3” with wider swimmer shoulders and average torso length; jacket shoulders are a tad wide, sleeve length a tad long, but the length is perfect at mid hip. I got Navy which is beautiful. Bonus that the zipper I got is black which I prefer to the lighter contrasting color zipper—darker blends in better and looks more sleek. Love the full zip which gives ventilation flexibility. Note: Sleeves are very form-fitting (I have slender athletic arms) and work best with bare arms/a tank top; a thin silky longsleeve shirt works too. Another bene is no stink despite multiple wears!
Looking forward to getting a lot of warm wear from this!

Hi Lesli,
Thank you for the detailed and thoughtful review! We're so glad to hear that you’re happy with the fit and quality of the sweater/jacket. It sounds like it’s working perfectly for your preferences and style, and we’re thrilled you’re enjoying the navy color and black zipper combo. It’s great to know you appreciate the flexibility of the full zip, and we hope it becomes a staple in your wardrobe for many cozy, comfortable wears. Thanks again for sharing your experience!

Cozy and looks nice

Quality jacket that looks nice too. Using it as a mid layer on my PCT hike currently. Keeps me warm, wicks away moisture, and is one of my only items that doesn’t stink already 😅
