Ehhhh....

While I do like the look and feel of the garment, I did have a seam split the first time I wore them. Hole is large enough for 2 fingers to fit through. I pre-ordered the basement and expected shipping in October. In November I enquired about not having been received and was told they would ship shortly, and garment was shipped 2 weeks later. I like the product, but don't think I will repurchase from Arms of Andes.

High comfort, long-lasting

After many months of use I've been so pleased with this alpaca wool boxer brief I've now purchased three more. They are a great value considering how durable they are and how long they last before I need to wash them. I really appreciate the soft feel - no itching or chafing - and the great fit they provide. My only knock is that they don't have a fly. I'd replace my other (merino) boxers altogether if Arms of Andes made a boxer with fly. I use these alpaca boxers mostly for trail and road running plus hiking and backpacking and love the fact that they don't stink even after multiple days of use. Plus, they retain their shape and are fresh-as-new after laundering. Great product!

Sizing way off

Based on sizing guidelines, I ordered sized medium boxer briefs (which is also in line with what I’d buy from other companies). When they arrived a couple weeks later, I went to try them on and couldn’t even get them past mid-thigh. They weren’t a little tight - they were WAY off. It makes me question the sizing guide and future purchases. Additionally, the whole “free returns” we’ve become accustomed to does not apply - expect to pay for shipping & handling and a processing fee. Overall not a great experience and I likely won’t be ordering from them again.

All that being said, the customer service folks were very pleasant and professional in communicating with me. I hope they can get the sizing issues figured out.

Great lightweight underwear

I was wearing brooks brothers boxers. They were Pima cotton. These are much softer and a little shorter. They are perfect. It’s like wearing nothing. And it’s so much softer than the Pima cotton. I’m definitely glad that I went all in and bought 8 pairs.

Best pair of underwear I own. I like them better than my Duluth Trading Buck Naked for several reasons; they are made of Alpaca a much higher quality material, they don’t make me sweat, and they don’t stink.
